Workshops:
Janine Ibbini has been working with different art forms for most of her life. In recent years she has combined her love of fabric and threads with her interests in fine art and this has resulted in her passion; textile art.
Janine’s work is influenced by the people, the culture and the landscapes she experiences in the Middle East, where she has lived for over 30 years. Her work is inspired by the patterns and the vibrant colour she sees all around her.
Janine finds teaching both a privilege and a joy, and is enthusiastic in sharing her passion and knowledge with others.
An active member of the textile arts community, Janine has exhibited across the Middle East, in the UK and in Switzerland winning numerous awards. She has also curated a number of exhibitions focusing on textile art.
