December 7th and 8th 2015
Quilting Artisan Jenny Bowker visited Dubai between the 7th and the 8th of December 2015 and ran two of her world-famous workshops, Arabesque and Shimmering Triangles. The workshop ran at the Grand Excelsior Hotel in Kuwait Street in Burdubai. Quilters travelled from several areas in the Middle East to avail of this education: We had ladies from Saudi Arabia, Oman, UAE and even one from Singapore!
It was a great retreat, with lots of creativity shared and ideas discussed and techniques learnt. We hope to have more visiting teachers in Dubai, to promote the wonderful art of quilting. We have some pictures here, taken from a quilter Christie Eckhardt, and some from our cameras. Enjoy!
